Why purchase the “Business Management” massage continuing education course
Why we created this CE course
In a profession filled with entrepreneurs we wanted to create resources for massage therapists that provide information on business ownership. We knew that to create continuing education courses based on entrepreneurship we needed a comprehensive course that covered all aspects of operating a massage practice. This Business Management course is our flagship course for this very reason. This is where our courses started and the remaining courses in our collection are either spinoffs or supplements to this course. Our goal with this course in particular was to create a comprehensive continuing education agenda that would help massage therapists see all the different aspects to owning a business. From the feedback we have received from those who have taken this course we have succeeded.
What you will learn
The beauty of this course is that it is a detailed overview of many different aspects of owning a business. In most cases we see this course acting like a launch pad into business knowledge. With so many topics and ideas, a massage therapist’s mind can run wild with how to incorporate these techniques in their current or future practice. The heart of this course is the business plan and the breakdown of the individual components. Not only will you learn the basics of a business plan and its components such as marketing, finances, and operations, but you will also benefit from the chapter specifically on communication skills such as public speaking and networking. The combination of these topics in one easy to read continuing education course makes the reality of owning and operating a massage practice a little less daunting.
What type of massage therapist should take this course?
This course is perfect for massage therapists who want an in depth look into the business side of owning a massage therapy practice. Those who currently own a massage practice will find real value in the ideas and techniques shown to make a massage practice more efficient. However, massage therapists who are aspiring to be an entrepreneur at some point in their career will have the benefit of a wide overview of what to expect when owning a massage practice.
